A 47-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following a house fire in Birmingham.
It comes after another man, aged in his 30s, died following the blaze at a property in Highters Heath yesterday on Friday (September 19).
Emergency services rushed to the scene of a property on Saxons Way shortly before 1.10am.

The victim was found seriously injured and taken to hospital but tragically died a short time later, sparking a murder investigation.
West Midlands Police said it arrested a suspect last night and they remain in custody while enquiries continue.
The force has appealed for anyone with information to get in touch, quoting log 174 of September 19.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “We’ve arrested a man on suspicion of murder following a house fire in which a man died in Birmingham on Friday.
“We were called alongside fire and ambulance colleagues to the property on Saxons Way, Highters Heath, shortly before 1.10am yesterday (19 September).
“A man, in his 30s, was found seriously injured and taken to hospital for treatment but tragically died a short time later.
“Last night, we arrested a man aged 47 on suspicion of murder.
“He remains in custody while enquiries continue.
