A town an hour’s drive from Bristol has been crowned the best place to live in the area. Readers of lifestyle site Muddy Stilettos have chosen Frome as the best place to call home across Bristol and Somerset in 2025.
Muddy Stilettos described the town as: “The community-minded town of Frome is packed with arty, award-winning artisan shops, brilliant eateries, health and wellbeing and other businesses, with an indie cinema, two theatres and a music venue where the likes of Paul McCartney ‘just pop in’ – and it hosts the best designer-maker-producer street market in the West.
“Community is second to none with lots going on to get involved with, including the annual Frome Festival, Frome Carnival and the Frome Window Wanderland, a walking trail around the town’s houses, all lit up and decorated.
