Celtic fans’ protests continued towards the board on Sunday.
After the first set of dissatisfaction, anger and frustration were expressed during Celtic’s win over Kilmarnock last week, the second dose was unleashed at Firhill.
Celtic thrashed Partick Thistle 4-0 to book their semi-final ticket in the League Cup – and a meeting with Rangers at Hampden – as further protests took place, with board members present in the stands, just like they were at Rugby Park.
And the cameras captured what Michael Nicholson and Chris McKay were doing in that moment.

Celtic fans held up cards with the faces of various board members, including Peter Lawwell, with stop signs over their faces.
This happened before kick-off, but they were purposely held up minutes before the players came out of the tunnel.
But as the Premier Sports cameras panned towards the directors’ box, Nicholson and McKay could be seen on their phones and clearly trying to avoid what was happening in front of them.
What Premier Sports said about Celtic’s protests
With this being a League Cup game, Premier Sports were the host broadcasters, as they covered the Celtic protests before, during and after the match.
Host Emma Dodds noticed how the likes of Nicholson were ‘not looking up’, as fans voiced their frustrations once more.
Emma Dodds: “This is the Celtic protest in full flow. You have to say, the printers in Glasgow trade between yesterday and today. There are protests all over the place.
“There they are, just some of the Celtic board members. Not looking up certainly, but they will be aware of exactly what’s going on in the stands.”
