An Edinburgh shopkeeper who has ‘had enough’ of shoplifters has shared a message for any thieves.
Urfan Hussain, who works at Muirhouse Post Office, hopes to ‘stamp out shoplifting in small stores. Posting a clip online, brandishing a baseball bat, he said he was ‘sick and tired’ of individuals taking items without paying.
He also shared a clip of a man who ‘stole £6.75 worth of chocolate‘. Urfan has said that he likes to give people a chance, and gives them time to come in and pay for the items – though this hasn’t worked out.
He admitted to being ‘really hacked off’. Speaking to Edinburgh Live, Urfan said: “The purpose of this is to stamp out shoplifting in small stores.”
In a clip posted on social media, where he bashes in some cardboard boxes with a baseball bat, he added: “I’m sick and tired of people still coming in and stealing after that last viral video.
“People are still coming in and stealing from their own doorstep. Why s***e on your own doorstep?
“Honestly. I’ve given him five or six days, lets make this guy viral just like the last one.
