Hollyoaks has confirmed who the evil Jez Blake will target next, though it will come with a price as the villain is set to be caught out in dramatic fashion – here’s everything you need to know about next week’s scenes.
Jez has been running amok in the village in recent months, with the serial killer claiming several victims before Sienna discovered his crimes. Just as it looked like he may be thwarted, Jez kept his daughter and Ste Hay hostage on the Love Boat.
What to Read Next
In scenes set to air next week (29 and 30 September), John Paul McQueen will be left reeling following an altercation with Jez, though he begins to recover memories from the day of Bobby Costello’s murder (which was committed by Jez).
After piecing together the clues and realising that Tony Hutchinson is innocent, John Paul rushes to Liberty Savage and attempts to explain Jez’s guilt, though she bats off his words to begin with and suggests he gets mental health support.

John Paul continues to tell everyone he knows about Jez’s crimes, with Diane furiously brushing him off as she rushes to Tony’s plea hearing. Jez, however, catches wind of his ex-fiancé’s actions, and seeks to stop him.
John Paul soon approaches Jez, and vows to uncover the truth while attempting to achieve sobriety. Knowing that his former partner is on a mission, Jez begins his plot to silence John Paul for good.
The following day, Liberty and Jez show support for Diane at Tony’s hearing after Darren and Nancy decide not to attend. As they prepare to head in, Diane informs Liberty and Jez that the McQueens also won’t be in attendance after what happened to John Paul.
Knowing what she told Jez right before the attack, Liberty is shocked to the core as she begins to suspect that John Paul may have been telling the truth. Realising the error of her ways, she immediately calls Dodger about her fears…

Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
