Joanna Quirk joins BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT from The Chartered Institute of Building, where she worked as chief operating officer, bringing a wealth of experience in professional membership bodies and operational leadership.

The organisation said her appointment marks an important step in BCS’ mission to grow its impact as the professional body for IT, championing digital skills, ethics, and excellence across the tech sector.

“I’m excited to be joining BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT at such a pivotal time for the digital profession,” said Joanna.

“Technology plays a crucial role in all our lives, and I look forward to helping BCS deliver its vision for a diverse, ethical, and competent tech industry that will make IT good for society.”
