Fans of the BBC show Gladiators are in for a treat later this year as the iconic sports game show is headed on a UK tour in just six weeks time. Visiting most major cities, the show will feature a stacked roster of Gladiator’s fighting it out across multiple custom-built sets designed specifically for this roadshow.
Those who attend the show will have the chance to watch their favourite Gladiator stars compete against one another just as they have in the recent broadcast show. The line-up includes Steel, Legend, Nitro, Fury, Diamond, Giant, Comet, Bionic, Electro, Phantom, Viper, Athena, Cyclone and Hammer.
What’s more, there will also be a healthy collection of contenders in attendance, all of whom previously appears in Season 1 and Season 2 of the BBC show. Amanda Wah, Aneila Afsar, Zavia Hill, Rachel Bruno-Hardy, Joe Fishburn, Nathan Bland, Joe Holroyde, Marie-Louise Nicholson, Bronte Jones, Kerry Wilson, Wesley Male and Dev Pankhania are all signed on to appear at some point during the UK tour.
Gladiators Live will be hosted by Radio 1 presenter Maia Beth, who has a self-professed love of wrestling herself. Refereeing the whole thing will be Mark Clattenburg, Sonia Mkoloma and Lee Phillips, all of whom have previously appeared on the TV show.
Tickets for the event previously went on sale earlier in the year with many venues and dates fully sold out. However, there are a few tickets still available for reasonable prices over at Live Nation, including several tickets at the Manchester AO Arena dates.
Prices start at around £43 for the seats furthest away from the Gladiator Arena, with prices getting gradually more expensive the closer you sit to the action. It’s worth checking out the Live Nation site to see which dates still have good availability and prices left.
