Arsenal FC attacker and German national team player Kai Havertz has been dealing with a knee injury and the latest news from Gunners boss Mikel Arteta is not promising.
With the striker position unsettled under Julian Nagelsmann, it could be a while before Havertz can help per Arteta.
“With Kai, we know that it will be months with him. I don’t know if it can be weeks, you never know because this is Kai and he’s a different specimen,” Arteta said (as captured by Fabrizio Romano). “We really miss him. Hopefully, he will be back soon.”
While Arsenal needs Havertz, Germany might actually need him more.
Bayern Munich will host Werder Bremen in a Bundesliga match that — on paper — looks a little lopsided.
The Bavarians are scorching hot and Werder Bremen has a slew of injuries, which makes for what could be a very tough challenge against a Bayern Munich team than can just wear down the opposition.
