A person has been taken to hospital following a crash involving two vehicles in Co Down this morning.

The crash incident happened on the Glascar Road in Banbridge.

The Belfast Telegraph understands a car overturned.

A spokesperson for the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service said: “The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a 999 call at 08:24 on Thursday 25th September, following reports of an RTC involving two vehicles on Glascar Road, Banbridge.

“NIAS dispatched one Emergency Ambulance to the incident.

“Following assessment and initial treatment at scene, one patient was taken to Craigavon Area Hospital by ambulance.”

A PSNI spokesperson said: “Police attended a two vehicle road traffic collision on the Glascar Road, Banbridge on Thursday morning, 25th September. There were no serious injuries reported.”
