Prince William joined King Charles in Scotland after Southport engagement
After a heartfelt engagement in Southport with Princess Kate, Prince William travelled to Balmoral Castle for urgent talks with ill father King Charles.
The 76-year-old Monarch was spending time at the Royal Family’s Aberdeenshire property, before being joined by his eldest son.
On Tuesday, the 43-year-old Prince and Princess of Wales had made their way to Southport, visiting schools connected to the three girls who tragically lost their lives in the devastating dance class attack in 2024.
William’s visit to Balmoral marks the third short retreat he has shared with his father in the Scottish Highlands.
These sit-downs, deliberately left out of senior royal staff schedules, are meant to serve as private catch-ups for the father son duo.
According to the Telegraph, William and King Charles, who was diagnosed with Cancer in 2024 and is still undergoing treatment, made time to talk through matters.
Their meeting also comes amid royal tensions as Sarah Ferguson has faced major fallout after more charities cut ties with her following the resurfacing of emails once she sent to Jeffrey Epstein.
Many Charities like The Children’s Literacy Charity, The Natasha Allergy Research Foundation, and Prevent Breast Cancer cut ties with the 65-year-old British Royal family member.
