The Beat the Street CamGlen game is in its Go Explore week, inviting residents of Cambuslang and Rutherglen to find the area’s hidden gems on foot.

The free active travel game rewards people for swapping car journeys for walking, cycling, scooting, running and wheeling and there are prizes for the teams that travel the furthest in the six-week game.

At the start of this week there were 7811 people playing Beat the Street CamGlen and collectively they had clocked up nearly more than 26,500 active travel miles since it started on September 17.

The weekly theme changes every Wednesday and this week is the game’s ‘Go Explore’ section where players can score triple points on certain Beat Boxes this Saturday and Sunday – you just need to find out which ones!
