Known for its northern humour and relatable setting, Brassic is back for its final season, with its seventh instalment having been released on 25th September. Like previous seasons, season 7 has been filmed primarily in Greater Manchester and Lancashire, so we’ve rounded up the filming locations that were used to create this final part of the beloved Brassic.

Starring the likes of Michelle Keegan, Ryan Sampson and Joe Gilgun, Brassic has been filmed all over Lancashire and Greater Manchester. Coming from creator Joe Gilgun’s creative mind and actual upbringing, Brassic has been a hit since its inception in 2019, combining slice of life drama with local humour, and of course, some unbelievable happenings.

Back in January, stars were spotted filming Brassic in Towneley Park, Burnley. Burnely Council confirmed that Brassic was filming in the town, with filming locations including Rossendale Road and Crown Point – so locals can look out for these spots in season 7.

Bacup, Lancashire

As in previous series, Lancashire’s Bacup has been used for the gang’s hometown of Hawley in Brassic. It’s become a home away from home for the Brassic cast, who love returning to the town with each new series, as do the locals – we’re sure it’ll be missed, and vice versa.

Closer to home, our very own Altrincham was also used as a filming location for Brassic season 7. Also back in January, stars Joe Gilgun, Aaron Heffernan, Ryan Sampson and Neil Fitzmaurice were all seen filming around Medway Crescent and Altrincham Business Park.

Alongside Bacup, some locations appear in several episodes per series, and as such we expect to see a few of these in season 7:

  • The Star & Garter pub, Manchester city centre – The Crow’s Nest pub
  • Frederick Road Campus, Salford University – Dr Cox’s Surgery
  • Ashton-under-Lyne – Erin’s house

You can watch Brassic season 7 on Sky now, with new episodes every Wednesday.
