Inter Milan lining up surprising swoop for Leeds United’s Illan Meslier
Meslier’ contract expiring in the summer of 2026 means an exit isn’t too far away for the Frenchman. Inter Milan are the latest club to be linked with his signature – per CalcioMercato and others.

Meslier features on their list of targets, and InterLive relay these claims. They share that he could prove to be an “incredible coup” for the San Siro club as a free transfer.
However, there are suggestions that Leeds would like to maximise Meslier’s worth by brokering a January exit for him. Interest supposedly remains from Rangers, Como, and Fiorentina among others.
Leeds United ought to find permanent exit for Illan Meslier in January, Inter Milan would be some move
Given how low Meslier’s stock has dropped since his performances under Marcelo Bielsa in 2021, you have to wonder how much we’d sell him for now.
That being said, it’s good for Meslier that he’s still being linked with these sorts of moves. You can see there’s probably still a good top flight ‘keeper in there.
Meslier just needs to leave Leeds to get back to playing with confidence. A move to a Champions League giant like Inter Milan would be some shot in the arm for him.
