“We know she was so loved by you all, we would like to thank everyone from all over the world for taking her in to your hearts. She was an amazing lady.

Molly spoke to the Manchester Evening News on New Years Eve in 2022 and 2023, each time bringing with her a pillow with a photo of her late husband Brian on it.
“I bring my husband out with me every year at it was always a special night for us,” she told the M.E.N in 2022.
“We’d always leave wherever we were at about 11.50pm and say happy new year to each other before going back in. I always have him by my side.”
Describing the tradition the following year, she said: “I have to have that [cushion] every New Year’s Eve and Christmas Eve because I miss him so much.
“We were together for 53 years. He died in the October when our anniversary was in the December. He knew me from school, we were only going out together eight months and we were married.”
