There’s nothing more frustrating than sluggish and unreliable internet, making the choice of broadband provider crucial. However, customers stuck in a contract with a provider delivering substandard service may face steep cancellation charges if they opt to switch.
Now, EE is offering homeowners and tenants up to £300 to cover exit fees if they decide to switch to their service. In addition, several deals are currently available with EE: 74Mbps full fibre, touted as the fastest and most reliable broadband, costs £26.99 per month, 150Mbps is £28.99, 500Mbps is £32.99, and 900Mbps is £37.99.
Backed by BT, the broadband is said to provide customers with a seamless network throughout the home, ensuring a dependable WiFi signal wherever they are. The 74Mbps service is particularly recommended for streaming, browsing and using social media, at a price that won’t break the bank. Moreover, all plans come with a smart hub and a router.
Whether it’s a contract for students or for a family, there are options for everyone. Customers can choose from either 12 or 24 month plans, and they’re easy to set up, reports the Express.
Customers simply need to select a plan that suits them, inform EE if they are switching, so the company can provide them money to cover leaving charges, and finally choose an installation date to get started. Alternative broadband options include Virgin Media, offering its M125 Fibre Broadband at £22.99 monthly, delivering 132Mbps and described as perfect for two-person households with five to nine gadgets.

A third satisfied client noted: “Had EE WiFi 7 for 2 months now. What a difference superfast speeds and so much better than Sky. Overall very happy.”
However, some users expressed minor reservations, with one stating: “EE broadband service is really good, never had a single day of downtime since 2020 on a 73Mbps connection! However, price isn’t competitive, so one less star.”
Another commented: “Have been an EE customer for years now, with both mobile phone and broadband contracts. A few issues along the way, but each was sorted efficiently and I’ve always been offered a good price for services.”
