Meghan Markle has offered her Instagram followers an exclusive peek inside her $14 million (£10.5 million) mansion. In a glimpse of her living room, the Duchess of Sussex showed off the lavish interior, featuring a $2,000 (£1,400) Hermes throw.

The former Suits star resides in Montecito, California, with her husband, Prince Harry, and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, after leaving the UK and stepping back from royal life in January of 2020.

In a clip posted to her Stories, Meghan showcased a striking floral arrangement while her beagle, Mia, snoozed peacefully on a cream armchair, the Mirror reports.

The 44-year-old continues filming, slowly moving the camera across the room before settling on a striking bouquet of flowers sat on top of a sleek black side table. As the video zooms in, the white vase comes into focus, which proudly displays the logo of her lifestyle brand, As Ever.

With a subtle royal nod to her husband’s family connections, she captioned the post: “Delphinium, Nigella, Veronica – meet As ever. With garden roses and Queen Anne’s lace (and a very sleepy Mia). Looking lovely, ladies.”

Elsewhere in the living room, viewers noticed a brown and cream Hermes throw, which is priced at around $2,000. Through the widows, Meghan’s patio comes into view, complete with an outdoor table and chair, sat beneath a leafy canopy.

This glimpse into her home offers a rare look at Meghan and Harry’s private life, especially after it was revealed that her Netflix series With Love, Meghan, was not filmed at her own property at all. Instead, scenes set at “home” were shot at a nearby rental property arranged by the production company.

Speaking to People, about the decision to shot at a rental house, Meghan explained: “I wanted to protect that safe haven. We’re a close-knit family, and I love those moments — putting Lili down for a nap, having lunch together, having sacred time together at the end of the day. Our kitchen is where Mama just cooks for the family, and with a crew of 80-plus people, that’s a lot of people to have in your house!”

Meghan’s lifestyle brand As Ever currently only stocks jams, wine and crepe mixes, but the vase in the video suggests that more lines are set to be added to the brand.

She initially launched her brand in March 2024 as American Riviera Orchard, before rebranding it under its current name in February.

It was recently revealed why Meghan and Harry decided to keep their children’s royal titles, even though they no longer use their own HRH titles themselves. Reports now suggest the couple made this choice after speaking with Harry’s cousins, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.

“Harry and Meghan are very, very keen to cling onto those royal titles,” journalist Neil Sean said, via the Express. “After much deliberation, Meghan decided that the titles would be a good thing, not just for her but for both her children too.

“Meghan became very friendly with senior members of the monarchy, predominately Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice. After this, Meghan realised how useful a title can be, particularly when you want to move in the correct circles. That is the reason why they want to clutch hold of titles.”
