A major Manchester roundabout is partially blocked after a British Transport Police (BTP) car has crashed.
One lane of Chester Road, in Manchester city centre, is closed after the collision this afternoon (September 28).
The car appears to have smashed into bollards in the pedestrian and cyclist crossing area.
The BTP vehicle deployed its airbags in the smash and has suffered heavy damage to its front end, including a smashed hood.

Chester Road, the A56, form the central line through the busy roundabout for the Mancunian Way at Deansgate Interchange.
