Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis were in for a treat this week as they attended the set of the new Harry Potter series twice. The children were taken to the set of Hogsmeade Station, built on Windsor Great Park near their future Forest Lodge home, by Prince William and Princess Kate earlier this week.
On their first visit to the £4million set, the family were asked whether they wanted to watch live filming on Friday – an offer they accepted. On Friday night, it has been reported that Kate, 43, went to the set with George, 12, Charlotte, 10, and Louis, seven.
The family met the cast on the set of the upcoming series, which will air on TV screens in 2027. Dominic McLaughlin, 11, will play Harry.
As reported by The Mail on Sunday, the family then watched some scenes be recorded – a once-in-a-lifetime memory for Kate and the children.
One on set source told The Mail on Sunday: “It was so special, Kate and the children met the young actors and the director on the set.
“There was only one night of filming there so it really was a magical ticket.
“And as for Louis, he got the chance to ride on the train with the driver. He seemed to absolutely love it. It’s the dream for most children to step aboard the Hogwarts Express.”
