Prince Harry was making some progress with King Charles, sitting down with his father for the first time in months, but now that the Royal Family is back to work, all of the Duke’s hard work may be overshadowed, says one expert.

Following their summer break, the senior working royals have resumed their royal engagements and as their calendars continue to fill out, there may not be much time for Harry and his pursuit of a royal reconcilation.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Express US, PR specialist Lynn Carratt, shared her thoughts on the matter, how Harry fits into the mix.

Carratt, Director at E20 Communications, said: “There is no denying that the royal calendar has been intense over the past couple of weeks with the Duchess of Kent’s funeral and Trump’s state visit and news cycles move fast, a major moment one week can be overshadowed the next.”

She said: “But that isn’t to say Harry’s visit has been forgotten, his visit to the Ukraine was significant and put him back the spotlight for humanitarian work away from his royal connections.”

While the royals are back to work, Harry is back stateside and since making his return to Montecito, California, it’s been reported Charles is not going to budge on the half in, half out request, upholding his late mother’s rule.

Prior to her death, Queen Elizabeth II made it very known that members of the Royal Family cannot carry out royal duties and pursue commercial opportunities, as it would be a conflict of interest.

According to Harry, people are making assumptions, that they know what he’s thinking, suggesting he’s miserable living in the US, but that’s not the case, he’s actually quite happy.

He admits to missing home, but that comes with the territory when you move away.

And while things may go quiet, that doesn’t mean the royal reconciliation has come to an end, says Carratt.

She explained:”King Charles and the rest of the family will return to more private or behind-the-scenes negotiations about Harry’s future visits or relationships.”
