Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are set to attend their next royal event in just a few months, marking the first time they would have been seen in public since August. While the royal children are among some of the most popular members of the Royal Family, and will have an important role to play in the future, at the moment, they appear on the royal stage just a few times a year, having as ordinary a life as possible in Windsor.

However, with Christmas slowly approaching, George, 12, Charlotte, 10, and Louis, seven, will make a handful of appearances with their parents Prince William and Princess Kate, both 43. These appearances are set to start in early December, with the next royal event they are likely to attend being Princess Kate’s Together At Christmas carol service.

While no date has yet been publicly announced, the children have attended to support their mother over the last few years, taking front row seats at Westminster Abbey for the carol concert.

While they spend Christmas Day at Sandringham in Norfolk with the wider family, hosted by King Charles and Queen Camilla, the children and their parents tend to retreat to their own Norfolk home Amner Hall for some private time together afterwards.

George, Charlotte, and Louis’s last public appearance was in  August, when they were spotted in a car with their parents heading to a church service near Balmoral Castle in Scotland.

Before this, they were seen taking part in Trooping the Colour celebrations in June, which saw them take part in a carriage procession and appear on the famous Buckingham Palace balcony.

While they may be among the most famous children in the world, William and Kate are determined to give George, Charlotte and Louis as much privacy as possible in their day-to-day life in Windsor, which is believed to be fairly ordinary.
