Ipswich Town U21s continued their strong start to the Premier League 2 campaign as they beat Liverpool 3-2 at Playford Road over the weekend.
This fixture was due to be played at Portman Road but with Liverpool’s involvement in the UEFA Youth League against Galatasaray it was instead behind closed doors at the training ground.

LIVERPOOL COMEBACK
The visitors pulled a goal back just before the hour mark when Kaide Gordon’s corner was headed home by Keyrol Norales.
In the 67th minute, they found an equaliser via Town defender Leon Eillott, who inadvertently put the ball into his own net.
LATE WINNER
It was game on for both sides, who pushed for the winning goal, and the young Blues hit the woodwork twice in the final 15 minutes via Mendel and Humphreys.
