Bay City Roller returns to Paris on Saturday where he will attempt to give emerging owners Victorious Forever and champion jockey Oisin Murphy another weekend to remember when dropping back in trip for the Group 2 Prix Dollar at Longchamp.
Murphy, who landed the Group 2 Rockfel Stakes for the owners aboard Zanthos on Friday, has been called up to partner Bay City Roller for trainer George Scott in the absence of the injured Callum Shepherd.
Shepherd was on board when the three-year-old recorded a career-best second at Longchamp last month in the Group 2 Prix Niel, finishing a short neck behind Godolphin’s Cualificar, who is prominent in the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe betting.
