A major pop star has been forced to cancel their entire UK tour following an on-stage incident at a festival at the weekend.
Lola Young, who is known for hits including Messy and One Thing, first broke out onto the scene in 2023 and has since received critical acclaim as well as winning the Ivor Novello Rising Star Award in 2025 and has also been nominated for two BRIT Awards.
The singer, who recently scored a top-three album with her third record I’m Only F**king Myself, had performed at the All Things Go festival in New York on Saturday (September 27).
During the performance of the track Conceited, Lola was seen visibly motioning to her team off-stage before falling backwards and collapsing in front of the thousands of fans in attendance. She was then carried off stage.

Lola, 24, later took to social media to say that she was ‘doing okay now’ and thanked fans for their concern and support. But Lola has now said she has cancelled all of her upcoming shows and is ‘going away for a while’.
This means that her headline UK tour, which was only due to begin in a week’s time, will no longer take place as a result. The tour was due to begin in Manchester on October 6 with a show at Victoria Warehouse. A second date at the venue was later added for October 7 due to demand.
The tour was then to be followed by a show at the O2 Academy Birmingham on October 9, followed by two nights at the O2 Academy Brixton in London on October 15 and 16. In November, Lola had then been set to begin her North American and Canadian tour.
In a message to fans, Lola apologised for having to cancel the tour at short notice and said the decision ‘pains me’, but explained that it was necessary and asked fans to give her a ‘second chance’ when they can.

She wrote: “I’m going away for a while. It pains me to say I have to cancel everything for the foreseeable future.
“Thank you for all the love and support. I’m so sorry to let anyone down who has bought a ticket to see me, it hurts me more than you know. Obviously you will be entitled to a full refund.”
The post went on to say: “I really hope you’ll give me a second chance once I’ve had some time to work on myself and come back stronger. Love you all, Lola x.”
It is understood that fans who have tickets will be sent correspondence regarding refunds. People can also reach out to their original point of purchase for further information.
