Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly at “crisis point” according to a royal biographer. Speaking on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive show, royal biographer Hugo Vickers said that since Harry, 40, and Meghan, 43, quit royal life in 2020 and moved across the pond to America, they have always been experiencing “a crisis” as a result of no longer being working royals.

Mr Vickers also said that he thinks life in the US with Meghan could “end badly” for Harry based on The Duchess of Sussex’s past history with relationships that have turned sour, including her relationship with her father Thomas Markle, her first husband and the Royal Family. Speaking on The Sun’s show, Mr Vickers said: “I think they’re always at a crisis point, because they’ve left the Royal Family.”

He continued: “The Royal Family are working for the United Kingdom commonwealth, whereas they’ve taken the celebrity route which means they have to completely reinvent themselves the whole time to keep in front of the public.

“They’re always changing direction, therefore they must always be at a crisis point.

“I have a feeling this story is going to end badly certainly for Prince Harry. I don’t see it lasting. I mean I don’t wish, but people actually always act in character, I mean I’m a biographer rather than a journalist.

“So I look at how people deal with their lives and she’s dumped her father, her first husband, Jessica Mulroney, the entire British royal family.”

While some people may agree with this, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have always instead only praised one another and the strength of their relationship.

Just this week, Meghan spoke at the Time100 Summit about how happy she is with her life at the moment.

During her chat on stage with Time’s Jessica Sibley about her latest podcast “Confessions of a Female Founder”, Meghan said she was “grateful” for her current lifestyle, with the family having spent the last five years living in Montecito.

She said: “To have a husband and a partner who is so supportive and kids who are healthy and happy, I never imagined at this point I would feel so happy and grateful, and I really do.”

Prince Harry has also previously praised his current life in America, saying he was “grateful” to be living in the US with his wife and their two children Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three.
