Kelling Heath Holiday Park welcomed budding astronomers and their families to its twice-yearly Star Party.

The holiday park has held the event for 21 years, with this autumn’s week-long celebration taking place from September 15 and 22 to coincide with the full moon.

Stargazers were able to see spectacular views of the Milky Way, planets and other celestial wonders.

Kelling Heath Holiday Park is accredited as a two-star Dark Sky Discovery Site, making it one of the best places in the UK to see the stars.

The north Norfolk Holiday Park is also gearing up to host a new Wild Sky Weekend from October 3 to 5, with a new wooden viewing platform being officially opened by celebrity astronomer Mark Thompson, best known for his appearances on BBC’s Stargazing Live.

This weekend, stargazers might be able to glimpse the start of the Draconid Meteor Shower.

Future Star Parties are already planned for March 16 to 22, 2026 and October 5 to 12, 2026.
