A forensic tent has been put up

A cordon is in place on a north Manchester street after a man was found dead.
Officers are in attendance on Silchester Drive, in Monsall, this morning (October 3).
Police have taped off the street, while a blue forensic tent is in place at the scene.
Greater Manchester Police says it was called out to concerns for a person’s welfare.

The man’s death is not currently believed to be suspicious.
Enquiries are ongoing this morning.
Witnesses told the Manchester Evening News officers first arrived on the scene at around 9pm on Thursday night.

An image from the scene shows at least two GMP vehicles are in attendance, with multiple officers manning the cordon.
