Two Edinburgh bound flights have been diverted back to the airports they departed from as Storm Amy continues to wreak havoc in the city.
A Lufthansa flight that departed from Frankfurt on Friday evening (October 3) was due to land at Edinburgh Airport at 5.15pm, but according to Flight Radar, the aircraft made it all the way to Edinburgh before it was diverted back to Frankfurt.
Another flight, a Norwegian Air Sweden aircraft was set to arrive in Edinburgh at 7.35pm, however, Flight Radar showed that it too was unable to land and was diverted back to Stockholm – the same airport it had departed.
