The festivities, which will take place during half-term from October 24 to October 31, will also feature a Halloween trail through shops and a special event in Holland Park.

On October 31, from 4pm to 7pm, Holland Park will transform into a theatrical playground, featuring unusual characters, installations, games, and entertainment.

Visitors will have the chance to cast spells with a talking frog, spin the Turntable Trick-or-Treat game, and join the Day of the Dead-inspired Skeleton Serenade parade.

This will include a 9ft dancing skeleton puppet and a mariachi band.

Other activities in the park will involve jugglers, magicians, glow-in-the-dark hula hooping, a bubble professor, and performances from Wolfman and his band, the Howling Stones.

Proceeds from the parade will be donated to Dogs Trust.

The Milestone Hotel will be offering Halloween-themed afternoon tea and cocktails throughout October, while Sambourne House will host its Haunted event on October 31, featuring a night of Victorian intrigue and drama.

Leighton House will host an interactive crime mystery puzzle on October 25, where children and their adults will work together to discover who stole Leighton’s painting.

Hyde Park’s Halloween Discovery Days will run from October 28 to October 30, featuring ‘feely boxes’ in the Witches’ Den, a nature trail, bat discovery sessions, and ghostly stories throughout the day.

The Design Museum will also be joining in the Halloween festivities with family-friendly activities, staff dress-up, themed café treats, and carved pumpkins on display.

Kensington’s new late-night club, Gallery, will hold a Halloween costume contest and themed pre-parties leading up to and through the weekend of October 31.
