Joining Claudia in the Scottish Highlands for The Celebrity Traitors are: comedian Alan Carr; singer/songwriter Cat Burns; actor Celia Imrie; singer Charlotte Church; broadcaster Clare Balding; historian David Olusoga; former rugby player Joe Marler; comedian Jo Wilkinson and presenter Jonathan Ross.

Plus broadcaster Kate Garraway; comedian Lucy Beaumont; actor Mark Bonnar; actor and comedian Nick Mohammed; content creator Niko Omilana; singer Paloma Faith; actor Ruth Codd; presenter and actor Stephen Fry; EastEnders star Tameka Empson and Olympic diver Tom Daley.

It’s not long before the famous faces are questioning everything and everyone as Claudia secretly assigns the Traitors. Their task is simple – under the cover of darkness, they must pick off their fellow players one by one, ‘murdering’ them from the game. The others – the Faithful – must try to work out who the Traitors are, banishing them from the game before becoming their next victim.

The players who survive murder and banishment face each other in the final, hoping to win up to £100,000 for their charity. If a Traitor remains, they take all the money and leave victorious.

In the second episode, As the ultimate reality game of detection, treachery and trust continues, the celebrity Players realise that the mission is not only high stakes, but could also hold important information in their hunt for the Traitors. With the sun setting, the first Round Table commences, and emotions run high as the players’ suspicions are put to the test, but are they looking at the right people?

The Celebrity Traitors begins Wednesday 8th October on BBC One.
