On Sunday it is time for the first Hot Comedy at Gilded Saloon on Lothian Street.

This is the new year-round comedy venue set up by Fringe producers, Gilded Balloon in tandem with community pub, Paradise Palms and the arts festival organisation, Kelburn Garden Party. The 7-day-a-week venue opened in the summer, and is intended to support artists and those involved in the creative arts while also providing a bar and 200 capacity club in the basement.

The club was also a hub for Fringe performers during August, and year round will offer discounts on food and drinks to the creative sector in addition to rehearsal and workshop space.

The comedy on Sunday 5 October includes Headliner comedian, musician, DJ and actor, Amelia Bayler appearing with Jack Traynor, Katie Sheinman, Eva Peroni and Tia Boyd among others to be announced and all hosted by Nicholas Elliott. Tickets £4.

Details of other dates between now and March 2026 are here.
