Prince Louis, at just seven years old, is already a beloved figure in the Royal family. Although he’s expected to take on official duties as a working Royal in the future, given his status as the son of a future King, for now, he’s just like any other kid – going to school and participating in sports.
Despite enjoying some of the benefits of Royal life, one experience Louis, whose mother recently discussed his career ambitions – hasn’t had yet is joining his parents, Prince William and Princess Kate, on a Royal tour. His older siblings, Prince George, 12, and Princess Charlotte, 10, both had this opportunity before they started school.
Unfortunately for Louis, his toddler years coincided with the COVID-19 pandemic when travel restrictions were in place. He then started school, prioritizing education over Royal trips abroad with his parents, which explains why he hasn’t been on an official trip yet. It comes as Kate Middleton revealed her brutal verdict on Prince William before they dated.

Interestingly, Royal enthusiasts might be surprised to learn that Prince Archie, Louis’s cousin, has already been on an official Royal tour. He joined his parents on their 2019 trip to South Africa when he was only five months old, just months before his parents, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, stepped back from Royal duties in 2020.

While Louis hasn’t yet embarked on an official Royal tour with his parents, it may not be too far off in the future. Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese recently met with King Charles at Balmoral, expressing that the Royal Family, particularly William and Kate, are always welcome to visit Australia.
As per The Mirror, the Australian leader seemed optimistic when asked if Kate and William would be invited for a Royal tour.
He stated: “I’m certainly hoping there will be one, there’s a standing invitation that the royal family are always welcome in Australia.
“It was wonderful to welcome King Charles and Queen Camilla to Australia recently, that had a very successful visit and His Majesty is very engaged and I hope that the Prince and Princess of Wales are able to visit as well and we are hopeful that might occur in the coming period.”
