PEEBLESSHIRE football star Josh Landers has been picked for Scotland’s U19s as they prepare for a double-header with Italy.
The striker, from Innerleithen, is part of head coach Neil MacFarlane’s squad of 23.
Eighteen-year-old Landers, who has already bagged five goals for West Ham United’s U21s in Premier League 2 this season, will be hoping to pick up where he left off in the last Scotland camp.
The former Peebles High School pupil scored one against Kazakhstan before finding the net four times in a 7-1 win against United Arab Emirates during the Slovenia Nations Cup in September.
