Five people have been arrested after police found suspected Class A drugs estimated to be worth more than £1m.
Officers searched two vehicles on Westwood New Road and Halifax Road in Sheffield on Tuesday evening, before searching a property in St Albans Road. They seized more than 40kg of suspected Class A drugs and three firearms.
Two men, aged 35 and 59, were arrested on suspicion of supplying a controlled drug and firearms offences while a 55-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and firearms offences.
Two men aged 26 and 34 were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
