Are you loving Silent Hill F?
The release has been fighting hard for our Game of the Month award, and has been attracting acclaim all over social media since its release.
But if you’ve completed the campaign, you may be wondering what’s next? Well, rumour has it Silent Hill: Townfall may not be far away.
While the source is somewhat shaky, French fansite Biohazard Ultimate reports that the indie-style spin-off is scheduled to release on 26th March for the PS5. This will be confirmed during a Silent Hill Transmission later this month.
Konami has held Silent Hill Transmissions in October before, ahead of the Halloween period. The fansite adds that this is where we’ll get our first look at Bloober Team’s upcoming Silent Hill remake as well.
We know Sony’s console exclusivity for Silent Hill 2 has now concluded, with releases on other platforms planned.
And the title has been touted for PS Plus Extra, rounding out more than enough content for some kind of livestream.
Silent Hill: Townfall itself is said to be an atmospheric adventure game without combat. It’s being made by the UK studio Screen Burn, which – under the name No Code – previously made fairly acclaimed experiences like Observation.
While we can’t corroborate the game’s rumoured release date, all of this seems reasonable to us. We’ll obviously update you when and if a Silent Hill Transmission is officially confirmed by Konami.
