There’s always a slim hope of significant snowfall in London, but the prospect of the city being coated with a sheet of snow seemingly becomes more of a pipe dream as the years go on. There might be a way around this, though, if you have a romantic vision of frolicking among the falling snow (instead of trudging through the slushy ice).
Up At The O2 gave us the highest snowglobe in the UK when it launched last winter, and after proving successful in its debut year, the igloo with snowfalls and mulled wine will be riding its sleigh to the summit of the North Greenwich Arena once again.

Running from November 21, 2025 to January 4, 2026, Christmassy visitors will be able to take on a 20-minute climb up to the top of the O2 to reach the sky-high snowglobe. Once you’ve reached the summit, you can take advantage of the two new items of the menu to get in the festive spirit: mulled wine & hot chocolate. You can also celebrate the occasion with a glass of bubbly or a soft drink, before getting your snaps under the snowglobe.
Falling snow will be a daily feature of the 52m-high globe, making it a top spot to soak in the skyline with a festive backdrop in the chilly winter nights. It’s suitable for those aged 8+, so the whole family can get involved in an end-of-year activity with falling snow and warming drinks.
You can catch a snowfall at the highest snowglobe in the whole UK up at the O2 from November 21, 2025, with the experience running until January 4, 2026. You can book a climb up the O2 here.
