Arne Slot is making the most of the international break as he has has jetted off to Dubai with his family. The Liverpool manager is often pictured abroad when his team aren’t playing and he spends a lot of his time in Ibiza over the summer months.

Slot’s daughter, Isa, regularly uploads pictures of her travels to her Instagram account. She has over 34,000 followers and offers an insight into the busy life of the Liverpool boss. A picture uploaded to the platform yesterday showed the family posing for a picture together in Dubai.

The family photo showed Slot, wife Mirjam, son Joep and daughter Isa enjoying themselves, the snap was accompanied with a brown heart emoji. They have been spending their time in beach clubs and restaurants while soaking up the sun before the international break comes to an end in a couple of weeks time and it is back to business for Slot.

The Dutchman took over from former manager Jurgen Klopp last summer. Given this transition and only making one major signing in the form of Federico Chiesa, few fans and pundits predicted they would win the title last season.

Slot’s success also marked the first time a Liverpool manager has won the league in his first season since Kenny Dalglish’s first spell in charge in 1985/86. While Slot has relocated to Liverpool, Slot’s wife Mirjam has stayed in the Netherlands, along with their son Joep and daughter Isa.

The Liverpool head coach explained last October that the decision for Mirjam, Joep, and Isa to remain in their home country was taken because both of the children were going through important spells in their academic development.

Slot said: “Both of them are doing their exams. So, it was impossible for them to come. I wouldn’t say impossible, but that wouldn’t be the right choice to bring them over.

“And let’s see how it works out this year for them, for me, and see how we will do things next year. But first of all, we have to keep on winning for me to keep this job!”

The Reds boss was asked by Sky Sports last October what his schedule is like in the 24 hours before a game. He said: “But I think I’m quite focused. I prefer to be either by myself or with my kids and my wife, I don’t like friends or family to come over on a game day because I’m a bit focused on the game and on the meeting I present.”

Slot is spending time in Dubai with his family but fans remember his title celebrations in Spain last season. The manager continued to celebrate Liverpool’s Premier League title success by heading to Ibiza.

The Reds clinched the title in style at Anfield with a thumping 5-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur at the end of April. In various posts on social media, Slot could be seen being welcomed onto the Ocean Beach stage with Queen’s ‘We Are the Champions’ playing, while a group of women held up cards that read ‘Champions!’

Later on in some clips, ‘Freed From Desire’ begins to play, while in an Instagram story posted by former EastEnders actor Dean Gaffney, Slot can be seen enjoying the atmosphere in one of Ibiza’s most famous clubs.

Heading into the international break, the Reds sit second in the table. They have suffered three consecutive defeats and will return to action against Manchester United in the Premier League at Anfield on Sunday, October 19.
