As a valued partner of the Hospice we wanted to share the news about our current gifts in wills campaign, ‘This is Hospice Care’.
The need for Hospice care continues to grow at a time of unprecedented funding challenges and we are working hard to ensure compassionate care will be available for generations to come.
Last year, over 20% of the care we provided was funded thanks to gifts left to us in Wills.
One of the ways we are shining a light on the importance of Hospice care is through the current Hospice UK led ‘This is Hospice Care’ campaign which aims to highlight the incredible impact that hospices have on the people they help and their families. The campaign is being promoted through a range of activities including TV and radio adverts, social media and communications with our supporters, volunteers and staff. Many people still associate hospices solely with end-of-life care, unaware of the full spectrum of support they provide – from pain management and family counselling, to helping people with life-limiting conditions live as fully as possible. This campaign hopes to challenge these perceptions, by showcasing the true breadth of what hospice care really is, and to inspire more people to consider leaving a gift to their chosen hospice in their Wills.
