Connacht scrum and contact coach Cullie Tucker will lead the Ireland ‘A’ side to face Spain in November as Head Coach.

Ireland ‘A’ will take on Spain in Leganès on Saturday November 8 (5pm local/4pm Irish time) in a clash that will give young players exposure to game time at international level.

Tucker was part of the Coaching ticket for Ireland’s Summer Tour of Georgia and Portugal. He will be joined for the trip to Spain by Mossy Lawlor (Backs/Attack Coach), Jimmy Duffy (Forwards Coach) and Sean O’Brien (Defence Coach).

This additional clash to the November calendar follows last season’s Ireland ‘A’ game against England ‘A’ in Bristol and will provide a broader pool of players with exposure to the National Team environment during the busy November window which will see Andy Farrrell’s side will take on New Zealand in Chicago in The Gallagher Cup before facing Japan, Australia and South Africa in the Quilter Nations Series at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.

The game will take place at the Estadio Municipal de Butarque with streaming details to be announced at a later date.

The Ireland ‘A’ squad will be announce in due course.
