Prince Harry has been taking steps to end his feud with the royal family, having recently reunited with his father King Charles.
The Duke of Sussex spent almost an hour with the monarch, in what has been seen as the first step in establishing a truce between the Sussexes and the royal family.
The meeting came as Harry is set to take his Invictus Games to the UK in 2027, with fans wondering whether any royals will show up for the sporting event. It comes after the Invictus Games suffered a setback when Edward Lane Fox resigned from the Foundation’s Board of Trustees.
Speaking about the potential for any members of the royal family to attend the Invictus Games, former royal butler Grant Harrold said it’s possible people like Princess Eugenie might go.
He told The Express US, “I don’t think we will see the King or Queen attending, but it is possible that we might see cousins Beatrice and Eugenie, possibly Zara, in attendance.”
Harrold suggested Beatrice and Eugenie are likely to attend the Invictus Games as they are “quite close to Harry.” However, he admitted it all “depends on their work schedules.”
The Invictus Games will be held in Birmingham, England in 2027. The event will take place from July 10 until July 17 that year.
“These Games will shine a light on Birmingham’s incredible community spirit and the West Midlands’ strong commitment to supporting the recovery and rehabilitation of our Armed Forces community,” Helen Helliwell, the CEO of Birmingham 2027, said in a statement when the host city was announced.

Harrold’s comments come as Harry joined his wife Meghan Markle at the World Mental Health Day Gala in New York.
The couple were presented with the Humanitarians of the Year Award which recognized their efforts in building a safer and more equitable future for families and youths around the world.
Meghan and Harry will be at the World Mental Health Day Festival today.
