Married At First Sight UK is currently underway for 2025, however, fans of the show will have noticed that there was no episode on Thursday 9th October.
The series started on Sunday 21st October and introduced us to the first set of brides and grooms in the MAFS UK 2025 cast. For the first and second week, the show aired for five days from Sunday to Thursday, so viewers may have been expecting an episode on Thursday night.
There will also be no episode on Friday night, if you were hoping to get your MAFS fix this evening. Here’s why.
Why isn’t Married At First Sight UK on tonight?

There is no episode of MAFS UK tonight (Friday 10th October). MAFS typically doesn’t air on a Friday night, and the next episode will be on Sunday 12th October at 9pm.
It will be the 15th episode and will see the intruder couples head off on their honeymoons, while in-laws week will continue for the original couples, including Nelly and Steven, and Leigh and Leah.
There was no episode on Thursday 9th October, as the series will now only air four nights a week.
While there were five episodes for the first two weeks of season 10, the show has returned to its usual schedule. In previous years MAFS UK has aired four nights a week from Monday to Thursday.
There’s been a slight change for this year, as the show will now run from Sunday to Wednesday instead, so you can go back to adding plans to your diary for Thursdays after 9pm.

Season 10 kicked off on Sunday 12th October and saw the first couples say “I do” after meeting at the altar for the first time. The contestants then jetted off on their honeymoons before moving into their apartments back in the UK to test out their relationship in a real life setting.
With the cast settled in, the dinner parties commenced – and as usual there was lots of drama, with Julia-Ruth bringing up that Steven had been boasting about his sexual history on a night out. The mother of Steven’s children has since spoken about his behaviour on the show.
We’ve also seen two commitment ceremonies this season, the last of which ended with Paul and Anita leaving the experiment. And this week, six more intruder contestants joined the show. April and Leo, Leisha and Reiss, and Abi and John all said “I do” when they met at the altar for the first time. We’ll get to see if their love can grow when the show returns this Sunday.
Married At First Sight UK airs on E4 at 9pm from Sunday to Wednesday.
