A man has been rushed to hospital following a disturbance at a home in Paisley.

Emergency crews raced to a house on Ferguslie Park Avenue in Paisley at around 2.10pm today after receiving a report of a disturbance.

Upon attending, a man was blue-lighted to hospital for treatment. Police enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.

Images from the scene showed officers at the cordoned off property which was surrounded by police tape. A section of the street in front of the home was also taped off using wheelie bins.

The force could be seen coming to and from the property, with officers also being spotted in the back garden.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.10pm on Friday, 10 October, we received a report of a disturbance at a property in the Ferguslie Park Avenue area of Paisley.

“Emergency services attended and a man was taken to hospital for treatment.

“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
