Jamie Leweling will not travel with Germany’s national team to Belfast as a precaution for an adductor issue. The DFB announced the Stuttgart winger has been training individually since Tuesday.

Leweling wasn’t in the squad in yesterday’s win over Luxembourg. To avoid taking any risks with the player’s involvement in the ongoing season, Julian Nagelsmann’s team decided to leave him out of the team that will travel to Belfast tomorrow for Monday’s game against Northern Ireland.

The 24-year-old started in the first game against the Green and White Army. That remains the only time he played the entire 90 minutes in international football. Leweling played in each of the first 10 matches for Stuttgart this season.
