Smart watches are a key staple among plenty of tech fans, with them proving popular among both fitness and tech lovers alike. Not only are they great for tracking workouts, but they can be great extensions of your smartphone, letting wearer’s check their notifications right from their wrist.
While the likes of Apple and Samsung smart watches are incredibly popular, they can fetch a high price. However, there’s a much more budget-friendly option available at Amazon with one smart watch knocked from £199.99 down to £29.99 in the sale.
Despite its low cost, the smart watch features plenty of striking similarities to the more expensive Apple Watches, right down to the square screen design and rotating metal dial on the top right corner. It runs a completely different operating system though, and can be paired with both Android and iOS devices.
In terms of features, it’s got all the necessities you’d want from a smart watch, including the ability to track over 100 workouts. It’s lacking GPS, which might be an issue for those who like to upload their runs and cycles to Strava, but all the important health data like heart rate is captured to review later.
That heart rate monitor can keep track of your ticker throughout the day too if you like. It also helps to track your sleep if you wear the device to bed, providing insights on how well rested you actually are.
In terms of battery life, expect this device to last up to a week of light use. It can also be charged back up to full in an hour and a half, which is great if you forget to keep it topped up throughout the week.

Alternatively, Samsung’s Fit3 is another popular choice that doesn’t break the bank at £37.68. I’ve also heard great things about the CMF by Nothing Watch 3 Pro, which has all the same features as the Amazon watch but throws in GPS for good measure.
Amazon shoppers have rated this watch with a perfect five-star score, with one reviewer writing: “I have been really impressed by this smart watch, and this is a sharp price. The AMOLED display is clear and crisp, and there are limitless watch faces. Calling via Bluetooth and notifications are smooth, and thus I do not always have to pick up my phone.”
Meanwhile, a second shopper adds: “Software is easy to install (Standard Google play app). Once installed setting it up and synching is effortless.”
However, some reviewers did find the manual to be quite short, and that the menus are a tad confusing at times. “Navigation of the menu’s is fairly intuitive – but occasionally frustrating as you try to remember where you have to go to complete a task. Only negative so far is that the “manual is very brief. I supposed that’s a reflection that most people never read them,” they write.
