A Strictly Come Dancing star has been tragically murdered.
Fede Dorcaz, 29, was killed in Mexico City on October 9 during what police believe was a botched robbery attempt, which took place after the performer had left rehearsals for the Mexican equivalent of the BBC dance show, Las Estrellas Bailan en Hoy.
Four suspects are currently being sought by authorities. The Mexico City Secretariat of Public Safety confirmed that Fede was targeted as he attempted to leave a ring road and was killed immediately after being shot in the neck.

A spokesperson said: “Video surveillance cameras in the area are being analysed to identify the likely perpetrators who, according to initial reports, were travelling on two motorcycles.”, reports the Mirror.
Fede, an Argentinian model and vocalist who had relocated to Mexico, was driving home when the attack occurred.
Earlier this year in May, Rolling Stone described him as “the rising Latin star ready to redefine global Latin pop.”
The performer was best known for his popular tracks Cara Bonita, which means Pretty Face, and Moka, which he had recorded with his partner.
A memorial message was shared on the Las Estrellas Bailan en Hoy Instagram page stating: “The HOY family mourns the sad passing of our friend and colleague Fede Dorcaz,” according to the Daily Star.
“We share in the grief felt by his entire family, his parents and his girlfriend Mariana Avila.
“Mariana and Fede were one of the couples scheduled to appear in the new season of Las Estrellas Bailan en Hoy.
“Fede leaves a huge void in our team. His memory and his passion will continue to inspire us forever. Rest in peace, Fede Dorcaz.”
The performer was on the brink of making his series debut and heartbroken fans have flooded social media with touching tributes and prayers.
One individual wrote: “It’s a shame that such horrible people exist in this world. No-one, including Fede, deserved something this cruel. “
Another message addressed to his girlfriend Mariana read: “I hope and pray that God grants you a period of peace and tranquility during this challenging time in your life.”
