New data has revealed Greater Manchester‘s latest property hotspot areas where house prices are soaring.
The average house price in the UK fell by £794 or 0.3 percent month-on-month in September, according to an index by Halifax.
The annual rate of house price growth also eased to 1.3 percent, from 2.0 percent in August, taking the typical property value to £298,184.
However, there are certain parts of our region that are defying the downward trend, our exclusive analysis of the latest Land Registry data has now revealed.

In 10 Greater Manchester postcode areas, house prices have risen by more than 10 percent.
If prices are climbing in a certain area, it usually indicates that demand is outweighing supply – and that properties are becoming more sought-after.
Here are Greater Manchester’s 10 latest property hotspot areas where house prices are soaring:

House prices in Firswood, a suburban area of Stretford in Trafford, have soared over the last year.
The average property price has gone up by a whopping 32.8 percent from £241,456 to £320,565 over the last 12 months.
WN1
Another of the region’s property hotspots is Haigh, a village in Wigan, where house prices have shot up by 19.1 percent in the last 12 months.
You can now expect to buy a house for an average price of £235,404 compared to £197,632 last year.
OL1
In Chadderton, a town in Oldham, house prices have risen by 16.6 percent over the last year.
Despite still being one of the cheaper areas on the list, the average property price has increased from £163,633 to £190,747 over the last year.

House prices in Bardsley in Oldham have shot up by 15.3 percent in the last year.
As a property hotspot area, you can now expect to pay around £186,496 for the average house here compared to £161,726 12 months ago.
M38
Another part of the region where house prices are soaring is Little Hulton, a suburb in Salford.
The average cost of a home is now £195,495, which has gone up by 11.7 percent over the last year from £174,975 the year prior.
M9
In Harpurhey, an inner-city suburb of Manchester, house prices have climbed by 11.6 percent over the last 12 months.
The average property price now sits at £200,227 compared to £179,369 a year ago.
OL15
Littleborough, a town in Rochdale, is another of the region’s latest property hotspots, with an average house price of £249,817.
This has risen by 11.3 percent from £224,498 a year ago.

In Stalybridge, a town in Tameside, the average property price has climbed by 11 percent over the last year.
You can now expect to pay an average of £242,179 for a house compared to £218,195 a year ago.
WN2
Abram, a village in Wigan, is also one of the region’s latest property hotspots.
The average cost of a home here has risen by 10.9 percent over the last year, taking the average house price from £178,992 up to £198,485.
M45
Whitefield, a town in Bury, has also seen house prices soar over the last year.
Prices have risen from £291,467 last year to £323,153 this year – a rise of 10.9 percent.
