
SCOTLAND’S best Asian restaurant has been revealed.
The annual Asian Restaurant and Takeaway Awards (ARTA) were held at the Hilton, in London‘s Park Lane earlier this week.

The glitzy bash crowns the finest Indian and pan-Asian eateries across the UK.
Telly favourites including Love Island’s Harriet Blackmore and TOWIE’s Ella Wise joined celebs like sports presenter Seema Jaswal at the star-studded event.
Out of over 1,300 nominations, just 75 restaurants scooped awards at the prestigious ceremony.
Three Scottish venues managed to bag a top gong.

Glasgow’s Masala Twist was named Scotland’s Restaurant of the Year.
The city centre hotspot is known for putting a Scottish spin on classic Indian dishes.
Its menu features mouth-watering one-pot curries like lamb rogan josh, butter chicken and tandoori seekh kebab.
Diners can also watch chefs in action thanks to the restaurant’s open kitchen.
Delighted owners took to social media to celebrate the win and thank their loyal customers.
They wrote: “We’re honoured to receive the ARTA (Asian Restaurant & Takeaway Awards) Certificate of Excellence – Regional Restaurant of the Year 2025, Scotland! A huge thank you to our amazing team and loyal guests.“
Elsewhere, Nu Delhi Restaurant Lounge in Belfast was crowned champions of champions.
RISHI’S at Slate & Grain Brasserie and Bar in Hackbridge in South London picked up the national chef of the year award.
And Kaani Kaana in Chelmsford, Essex, scooped the national takeaway of the year award.
