The greater issue is that Opetaia could fight a more formidable contender, but it wouldn’t improve his marquee value or standing. There’s seemingly no incentive or external pressure to take on a tougher foe, unless it’s a unification. In all seriousness, the obvious fight to make while Zurdo is injured is Jai – CBS. Sanctioning body politics are creating obstacles in all divisions.
