Lothian’s newly appointed Chief Executive Sarah Boyd has been named ‘Director of the Year’ at the Institute of Directors (IoD) Scotland Director of the Year Awards, held in Glasgow on Thursday 9 October.

Now in their 20th year, the IoD Scotland Director of the Year Awards celebrate the achievements of outstanding business leaders across a range of sectors and categories.

Sarah was recognised in the Medium/Large Business category for her exceptional leadership and achievements at the helm of the award-winning transport operator. Since her appointment in 2022, Sarah has overseen Lothian’s continued customer growth, with the company serving over 116 million customers in the past year and achieving significant expansion across its network.
