Burnley have been handed a potential injury concern ahead of their clash with Leeds United in the Premier League this weekend.
Domestic action will resume on Saturday in the top flight after the international break. The match is the start of a crucial run for Daniel Farke’s team, with struggling West Ham United their next opponents at Elland Road the following Friday.

Leeds currently sit four points ahead of their upcoming opponents, having found the transition from the Championship to the Premier League more straightforward so far. However, defeat at Turf Moor on Saturday would tighten things up significantly at the bottom of the table.
Burnley have only won one of their seven games so far though and could go into this encounter without their main forward Lyle Foster.
As reported by the Burnley Express, the striker was forced to withdraw from South Africa’s squad in the build-up to their World Cup qualifying match against Rwanda.

“Lyle Foster has been withdrawn from the Bafana Bafana matchday squad due to an injury,” read a statement from the Bafana Bafana X account. “After consultation with the medical team, a decision was taken to withdraw him.”
Later footage of the team arriving at the stadium did show Foster with the rest of the squad though, meaning he has not headed straight back to Burnley to have any potential issue assessed.
The match is a crucial one for South Africa as they look to qualify automatically for the tournament in north America next summer. They need to beat Rwanda and hope group leaders Benin don’t beat Nigeria.

While no details have been released regarding Foster’s condition, the fact that he will not feature in such an important game will be a concern for Scott Parker.
The 25-year-old has started all seven Premier League games so far for Burnley, chipping in with a goal and an assist.
