From an offensive point of view, there are many positives for Emma Raducanu to take. Out of eigth break point opportunities against Zhu Lin, Raducanu took six of those, a success rather of 75%

However, most concerningly, the Chinese star created 22 break point opportunities, taking eight. While some may point to the fact she saved 14 opportunities, she cannot afford to offer an opponent so many attempts at her serve.

Moreover, the clash was also similar to her loss against Jessica Pegula at the China Open. In Beijing, she took the first set 6-3 and held match points in the second, but lost on a tiebreak.

Unfortunately for the Brit, she collapsed in the decisive set allowing Pegula to win 6-0. It was a similar story to Lin, with Raducanu taking the opening set 603, as well, but losing the next two 6-4, 6-1.
